William Smith College first-year defender Caroline Kogut of the William Smith field hockey team helped the Herons as the team went 2-1 on the week, defeating Nazareth 6-1 and Kean 3-0 before falling to Lebanon Valley 2-1. Kogut registered a goal in all three games this week bringing her season tally to a team-leading nine points on four goals and one assist. In the win over the Golden Flyers, Kogut scored the game-winning goal on her lone shot of the game. In a 3-0 win over the Cougars, Kogut scored one goal on three shots that all landed on target. She scored the Herons lone goal in the loss to the Flying Dutchmen and led the team with five shots. Kogut ranks sixth in the Liberty League in goals per game (.667) and eighth in points per game (1.50).
