The Union College doubles team of senior Ben Jacobs and first-year Jesus Sosa went 3-0 to claim the “A” Doubles title at the Garnet Charger Invitational over the weekend, winning once on Saturday and twice on Sunday. Jacobs and Sosa started the weekend with an 8-5 win over Nicolas Mobayed and Dikshan Chhikara of Drew in the quarterfinals. Returning to the court for day two, the tandem defeated St. Lawrence's Edvin Strandberg and John Hill-Edgar, 8-3, in the semifinals before cruising past Drew's Jesse Faro and Daniel Arcari, 8-1.
