RIT sophomore Alec Turcotte and first year Yu Tanimoto teamed up to win the “A” doubles at the St. Lawrence Fall Classic, Saturday and Sunday. They defeated Korwar/Anderson (Hamilton) 6-2 in their opening match, Saturday before a 7-6 (7-5) win over Hobart’s Gross/Fischer in the quarterfinals. Sunday, Turcotte and Tanimoto defeated St. Lawrence's Strandberg/Hill-Edgar 6-1 in the semifinals and claimed the title with a 7-6 (7-5) win over Hobart’s Steiner/Linares in the finals.
