Hobart College running back sophomore E.J. Taylor exploded for a game- and career-high 159 yards rushing to help Hobart defeat Alfred 10-7 on Friday night. He carried the ball a career-high 19 times and averaged 8.4 yards per carry. Taylor broke free for a 72-yard run, the longest play of the game. It's the longest rush by a Statesman since Nov. 2, 2019. The 72-yarder set up Hobart's first score of the game, a 26-yard field goal. Taylor also contributed to the passing game with one reception for 13 yards.
