University of Rochester senior Madeline O’Connell was a three-time All-American at the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, securing her best individual finish in the pole vault, ranking fourth in the field with a height of 3.86 meters. Additionally, O’Connell ran on Rochester’s third place 4x400 meter relay squad that posted a time of 3:45.40. Both the pole vault and 4x400 relay earned her a pair of First Team All-America honors. The senior also snagged Second Team All-America accolades with a 12th place result in the 400 meters, running a time of 56.27 seconds in the preliminaries. O’Connell’s results aided in Rocheser ending in the top-15 in the team results as the Yellowjackets tied for 11th with 16 points.
