University of Rochester sophomore Maddie White provided a solid performance in the circle for Rochester at the NCAA regionals, finishing with an 0-1 record and one save while tossing 8.0 innings. White pitched two hitless innings in Rochester’s regional opener against St. John Fisher, picking up the save while striking out 3 and walking just one batter. Later in the regional, White took the ball in an elmination game 7, she held Tufts to just three runs in a six-inning complete game, allowing just five hits and two walks with one strikeout. For the weekend, White had a 2.62 ERA and held opponents to a .161 batting average against.
