University of Rochester junior Cole Goodman was named Men’s Field Performer of the Meet after winning both the long and triple jump at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships this past weekend at RPI. Goodman set a Liberty League and Rochester record with a 7.58-meter leap in the long jump, a mark which is now number-two in Division III this season and a top-25 mark all-time in Division III. Additionally, Goodman led a first through sixth sweep by Rochester in the triple jump, clearing 15.16 meters to win by 1.30 meters and easily qualify for the AARTFC championships. Goodman’s efforts helped the Yellowjackets place second overall in the team standings.
