Vassar College first-year athlete Haley Schoenegge was victorious in the 1500 meters and the 5000 meters while also setting meet-record times in both events at the Liberty League Championship. Schoenegge became the Liberty League outdoor champion in the 1500 meters as she crossed the finish line with the meet-record time of 4:28.96 and defeated the next finisher by over three seconds followed by posting another meet record in the 5000-meters as the first year posted a time of 17:02.02 and beat the next finisher by over 11 seconds to earn her second victory of the day. Schoenegge was named the meet's Most Outstanding Track Performer following her record breaking performance and helped lead Vassar to its highest team finish at the league championship meet with a fourth place finish.
