Liberty League announces weekly award winners for Nov. 20
The Liberty League announced that 21 student-athletes in nine different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of Nov. 13-19. Skidmore College junior Edvinas Rupkus averaged 22.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists in helping the Thoroughbreds to a pair of road victories to open the 2017-18 season. Rupkus had 19 points and 13 rebounds in a season-opening win over Castleton and then added 25 points, nine rebounds and seven assists at Hartwick while shooting 65 percent from the floor and 80 percent from the free throw line.
