Liberty League announces weekly award winners for Sept. 15
The Liberty League announced that 27 student-athletes in 11 different sports have been recognized for outstanding play during the week of September 8-14. William Smith College senior Madeline Buckley scored two games, including the game-winning goal, to lead the Herons to a 3-1 win at Cortland in the opening game of the Upstate Collegiate Cup. William Smith, which beat Rochester 4-0 in the final, outshot its two weekend opponents by a combined total of 41-5.
